About Due Amici Pizza
Located at 5346 Docia Crossing Rd A, Charlotte, NC 28269, Due Amici Pizza operates as a pizza restaurant serving Charlotte in North Carolina. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
Pizza places in the United States run from a counter with two stools and a stack of boxes to a full sit-down pizzeria with a bar, and most neighborhood shops do all three things at once: dine-in, takeout and delivery. Ordering by phone is still common and often faster than an app, and many independents charge less when you call direct because there is no platform fee. Sizes are usually listed in inches (a small around 10", a large 14", an extra-large 16" or more), and a large feeds two to three adults. Slices are sold from a display case at New York-style counters and reheated to order; whole pies take 15-25 minutes at a busy shop. Most spots take cards and mobile pay, though a few older pizzerias remain cash-only, so check the door or the listing before you order.
Hours are published for 5 days a week. On most of those days it is open 11 amβ8:30 pm. It is closed on Monday, Tuesday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Due Amici Pizza at (704) 948-1999; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, dueamicipizza.com.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.6 out of 5 from 2,103 reviews, which is a strong result for a pizza restaurant in Charlotte and suggests consistent service.
Charlotte is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Traffic in Charlotte peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

This is the best pizza in Charlotte and Lake Norman combined. It absolutely pops. The negatives are that while the staff is amazing at what they do, they never seem happy to be there; the prices are high for the size of the slices; and the area is now overbuilt so itβs a hassle to get there. If youβre in the area, you should go! If not, only if youβre a pizza freak.

New Yorker missing home, this was the closest pizza to home. The crust had nice crunchy, the sauce was exceptional not too salty and a perfect blend of herds. The cheese was nice and gooey leaving a pleasant after taste. Plenty of parking and the staff were exceptional, very friendly, I came right at closing and they were still friendly. Plenty of parking! Highly recommend.

Best NY style pizza in Charlotte. Love to stop by and grab a slice of cheese and white, extra crispy. Staff is super cool there.

We recently moved into a place close to Due Amici Pizza and hence decided to try pizza here. They say that they have the best New York style pizza in Charlotte, but we didnβt find that to be the case. We got the Buffalo Chicken Pizza which had chicken that tasted gummy(and not fresh). Sure, the cheese that was slathered on the pizza was generous, but the pizza overall was just average. And it wasnβt NY style at all. The garlic knots were somewhat of a saving grace but they also tasted one-dimensional after a point. We also got a veggie wrap that was the highlight, with generous amounts of spinach inside it, and just the right taste. Due Amici Pizza in Charlotte tries best to be a NY Pizza establishment, and somewhat succeeds since there arenβt many NY pizza style stores in the area. But the overall food was just average. Parking is available outside, and thereβs a small seating area inside. Iβll update my review(if needed) after trying them a few more times.

Classic pizza by the slice, big slices, crispy bottoms and great flavor. 2 cheese and a drink for $11 is a bargain. They have so many options that I haven't seen near Huntersville, including deserts/pastries. Will definitely be coming back and expect this place to grow popular very fast.
